Independent developer Carlos Coronado is celebrating a massive career milestone after his latest co-op title, Together: Moon Escape, shattered his previous records by securing over 10,500 wishlists in just 24 hours.

A Historic Surge for a Veteran Developer
After releasing six games over the span of 15 years, Coronado—known online as CarlosGameDev—took to social media to express his disbelief at the game’s sudden popularity. He shared a screenshot of his Steam backend, which displayed a dramatic vertical spike in daily wishlists.
“Just to put things into perspective: none of my previous six games in 15 years reached more than 5,000 wishlists at launch,” Coronado wrote. “Yesterday alone, Together: Moon Escape was wishlisted by 10,500 players! In a single day!”
What is Together: Moon Escape?
Together: Moon Escape is a first-person, two-player puzzle game set on a desolate lunar station. The narrative centers on an “extremely profitable slime empire,” offering both split-screen local co-op and online multiplayer modes.

Co-op Gameplay and Lunar Absurdity
Mechanically, the game draws comparisons to It Takes Two, though it trades colorful platforming for a more grounded, puzzle-heavy experience. Success relies entirely on cooperation; players possess different tools and must synchronize their actions to overcome obstacles. The experience is punctuated by moments of bizarre humor, including a notable “poop geyser” featured in the game’s promotional trailer.
The game’s Steam page describes the premise: “You are Moonfishers, specialized astronauts sent to the Moon. Your employer? Moontella, a trillionaire corporation extracting rare—and questionably carcinogenic—lunar slimes to supply high-end restaurants back on Earth. The job was simple, until something went wrong.”
The developer encourages players to embrace the chaos of the mission, noting that the game is intentionally lighthearted. Whether players are struggling through complex puzzles or laughing at a partner falling into a crater, the core experience is defined by the necessity of teamwork.
Early Reception and Availability
Together: Moon Escape is currently available on PC and has already garnered positive feedback from the player community. Early reviews frequently compare the title to other cooperative staples like We Were Here and Portal. For those hesitant to purchase, a free demo is available on Steam to test the gameplay before committing to the full experience.
