Google Unveils New Cross-Platform Tools for PC and Mobile

Google is expanding its gaming ecosystem by rolling out new developer tools and cross-platform porting features this month, enabling seamless gameplay transitions between mobile devices and PCs.

Bridging the Gap: Mobile and PC Titles

Leveraging its new mobile games porting feature, Google is enabling titles like “Train Sim” and “Pet Shop Fever: Animal Hotel” to run directly on PC.

Simultaneously, the company is bridging the gap in the opposite direction by bringing prominent PC titles to mobile. This month, players can expect the arrival of “DREDGE” and “TABS Mobile” on the Google Play Store, with the critically acclaimed mystery game “Disco Elysium” scheduled to debut on mobile platforms later this year.

Enhanced User-Facing Features

To improve the desktop experience, Google is introducing custom control mapping for PC games, allowing players to tailor their input configurations for maximum comfort.

Additionally, the company is launching a dedicated game side bar later this month. This interface will provide quick access to game settings and include robust multi-account support for easier management.
