Mike Klubnika, the mastermind behind the 2023 viral hit Buckshot Roulette, is returning with Machine Party—a brutal multiplayer experience that reimagines the party game genre with lethal, high-stakes consequences.

A Dark Twist on Competitive Gaming

Klubnika is carving out a niche for himself by creating party games where survival is the ultimate challenge. According to the official Steam description, Machine Party is a collection of violent mini-games where failure is not just a setback—it is fatal. Players must endure intense situations to prove their value, though the developer warns that survival is unlikely.

The game features a distinct low-poly, grungecore aesthetic, positioning itself as the Twisted Metal equivalent to Mario Kart. Activities range from competitive pea-eating to speed cigarette smoking, with most losses resulting in a point-blank revolver blast to the face.

Gameplay and Lethal Mechanics

While it remains to be seen if the game includes a traditional board-game structure like Mario Party, it is confirmed to support 2-4 players. The core loop revolves around finding “devious ways of screwing your friends over.” Unlike Nintendo’s family-friendly title, here, sabotage leads to graphic, gory ends for your opponents.

If the game features environmental hazards similar to a Thwomp, players should expect realistic, visceral consequences rather than cartoonish animations. As the developer confirms, players can expect “frequent gory outcomes from losing mini-games,” where bones crunch and blood flows, ensuring that every defeat carries a heavy, permanent weight.
