Nintendo has officially confirmed that a 30-minute Partner Showcase will air this Thursday, February 5, 2026, focusing on upcoming titles for the Nintendo Switch and the anticipated Switch 2 from third-party developers.

What to Expect from the Partner Showcase
The broadcast, announced via the Nintendo Today app, is scheduled for 6am PT | 9am ET | 2pm GMT. While the event will skip first-party heavy hitters like Mario or Zelda, the 30-minute runtime is dedicated exclusively to Nintendo’s publishing and development partners.
The Elden Ring Factor and Potential Ports
Speculation is already mounting regarding the software lineup. A prime candidate for the presentation is the rumored Nintendo Switch 2 port of Elden Ring. Originally slated for release last year, the title was reportedly delayed to address performance concerns following lackluster convention demonstrations. Furthermore, industry watchers are eyeing The Adventures of Elliott: The Millennium Tales as a likely appearance, given Square Enix’s consistent presence at these events.
Square Enix and Capcom Rumors
The showcase may also serve as a platform for Square Enix to finally bring a native version of the Kingdom Hearts series to Nintendo hardware, moving away from the criticized cloud-based versions that hampered the original Switch. Capcom is also expected to make a splash, with potential reveals including a Resident Evil Requiem, Monster Hunter Stories 3, or a trailer for Pragmata. Fans are also speculating on the possibility of a Monster Hunter Wilds port or a revival of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, alongside a potential appearance for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
While the industry remains divided on the exact list of games, the event is shaping up to be a showcase dominated by JRPGs and farming simulators—the staples of current Nintendo Direct partner presentations.
