Driven by the need to rescue her imprisoned mother, she ventures into a forbidden faerie forest. There, she accidentally summons a demon named Cheshire, binding him to her stuffed cat doll. The narrative is arguably the strongest in the entire franchise—warm, humorous, and emotionally resonant, feeling like a sophisticated, darker take on a classic bedtime story.
